Tinsley,
Sheffield;

For the attention of Mr. Porter.

Dear Sirs,

We understand from your 'phone call that you are not in favour of Woodhead type clips.

We suggest therefore attaching the spring clips to each plate at the thinnest part possible. By this we mean attaching the clip at the end of flexible tip, as this will mean drilling each plate at a much lower stressed section.

If you are in favour of this idea will you please produce a set of Bentley springs to No. 122A, having the following spring clip positions from the centre of the springs:-

Rear Spring.

Front End - 1st clip 23" from centre
2nd " 15" from centre

Rear End - 1st clip 22½" from centre
2nd " 16" from centre

Front Spring.

Front End - 1st clip 14½" from centre
2nd " 10" from centre
