Hanbury - Head Complaints} Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Mr. Hde. ISOLATED GEAR LEVER. 20/25., N.Sch.4474 herewith shows the above. The bearings which carry the gear lever are to be as shown on LeC 4484 for the Bentley metal floorboards as this modification avoids the necessity of moving the hand brake lever bracket forward which would otherwise be required. Slight modification is necessary to the gearbox casting as unless the studs for the cover of the pendulum lever aperture are moved out, their nuts will cause trouble between the floorboards and the sliding seat adjustment. There is no lateral adjustment in the gear lever and so the holes in the frame must be drilled to suit each car as for the Bentley. HDY.{William Hardy} Att: N.Sch.4474. | ||
