| -2- Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/R.H.5/KW. 9:7:34. He, told me about your enquiry re K.L.G. plugs. I do not think that there is any question that these are all right to race on. As we have previously pointed out, they are not such a good all round plug as the Lodge Sports type. I forget why you wanted the battery pushing forward. The battery box will not go any further forward. We should like to know your objections to the quick lift oil filler at present fitted to the car. We think it is easier to manipulate and less liable to get loose than the one you have supplied. With regard to the fairing of the back of the car, if we make some wind tunnel tests it is probable that the whole body will want rebuilding, in which case we presume that you would allow the firm with whom you deal to work to our instructions. It is doubtful, however, whether we shall get agreement to proceed with the somewhat costly amount of work. Yours sincerely, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
