The noise and heat insulating properties of asbestos and cork for vehicle body and dash lining.

it has the same noise insulating properties.

There is also the question of insulation from the effects of heat, more particularly in the lining to be used behind the dash, and in this respect the sample composed of asbestos fibre and cork might have peculiar advantages.

I think that we might usefully try some of this material provided the cost is not prohibitive, the non-backed asbestos blanket for body lining, and the asbestos and cork for dash lining.
