BENTLEY V REAR ROAD SPRINGS.

We have decided to standardise Firth Springs on the first 50 production chassis. Details are as under.

Drawing No. FB.4364.
Poundage 1000 lb.
Static deflection 7".
Free camber. 6 1/4" +ve.
Loaded camber 1/2" -ve.

As regards the springs for the remaining 250 chassis in this series, we will let you know shortly if there is to be any alteration in poundage.

In the meantime, however, Messrs. Firths can be making the top leaf for the entire series as this will definitely not be redesigned.
