To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} re Bentley's. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}2/E17.10.34 When talking to Sr. of Paris yesterday/about Bentley cars in France, he mentioned that, as soon as they receive a Bentley car from England, they increase the poundage of the shock absorbers to 95 lbs. because by so doing it reduced the amount of shimmy of the front. Would you please let me know whether you agree this. I believe you increased the poundage of the shock absorbers on Mr. Fairey's car and, as Major Maurice Wright is complaining of the same thing, I was wondering whether it would be advisable for us to get hold of this car in order to carry out the same.
