ETHYLENE GLYCOL.

Further to the recent correspondence regarding this product, we give you herewith further particulars in the hope that they will be of interest.

(1) Our Research Department have made a test on the action of boiling Ethylene Glycol on Rubber, and find that the Rubber is quickly destroyed.

(2) The packing material sold as "Klingerite" is not affected by Ethylene Glycol, and this packing we use in the plant for the manufacture of this product.

With regard to No.1; this, of course, is a very drastic test, and at the temperature of boiling Glycol rubber in any circumstances could not last long, so that the best thing for you to do would be to carry out tests on the packing or jointing material you use, or propose to use, under the conditions that
