(6) To commence with a driven plate on the lines of G.84810, but with .050" cushioning and faced with VM.20. Working /u .21.

(7) We are about to experiment with a spring centre driven plate, with a view to reducing transmission rattles. We shall report later whether or not this is a success, but in the meanwhile we suggest that room is left for it in case we should want to incorporate it.
