DRAWINGS REQUIRED FOR EXPERIMENTS IN ACCORDANCE WITH Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}3/R.4.8.37 (1) Rockers for Wraith to give a valve lift of .350 as against .400 lift obtained with the present rockers EW.842. Such rockers will have a ratio of 1.275 against the present 1.450. It will be necessary to have a new rocker shaft pedestal centres to suit the above. On this set of rockers we wish to incorporate the single solid bush as per Ph.III. E.88780 and E.88775. These to include the modified lubrication scheme as developed on Ph.III. and shewn on Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}380/1/2. The idea of the above is to reduce the flow to the valve tip to a minimum and yet have liberal supply for the push rod end. (2) Scheme to prevent bottom tappets Ex.27960 coming out of guides in accordance with attached memo Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/IMW.{Ivan M. Waller - Head of Chateauroux}4/JAB.20.7.37 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Swdl.{Len H. Swindell} | ||
