[Handwritten: 1030] [Handwritten: 704] To Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} from Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} c. to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/EAG. c. to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/FJH.{Fred J. Hardy - Chief Dev. Engineer} c. to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/HH. EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}4/JH.9.10.40. re Dashboard Myth. On PL.365, we shew a project of the small depression in the base of the dashboard pressing, and the scenery around it. The engine shewn is the M.40 but the same depression clears the BM.40. On the M.40 a revised oil cleaner & a modified air silencer will be designed from those already issued to enable them to clear the dash. The reasonable tunnel in the front floor will give no difficulty with the clutch pedal, and it will be possible for the driver to move his foot to the left of the pedal to rest it. As soon as we receive from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/EAG. a drawing of the dashboard pressing as he would desire its general shape to be, we will produce a complete scheme of the dash, its attachment to the frame and the arrangement on it of the heater, wireless and other units. We shall require a drawing of the wireless set. Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} P.S. will Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/HH. return the original of PL.365 to Park Leys. | ||
