WHEEL CARRIERS AND LUGGAGE GRIDS. X.5600 X.7600

Following upon the decision during your last visit
to WW. and our subsequent discussion of the subject with Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}
we have in mind the following programme :-

P.2. N.2 SERIES - (FOR USE BY THE TIME OF THE PARIS SALON).

1st. Standard. Two wheels at the side on the existing
side wheel carrier with stay to the dash.
As an extra we well the revised type 4. luggage grid shown
on N.sch.3032. and perhaps an apron to Sch.1464. This will
apply to nearly all the max. bodied cars.

2nd. Standard. Two wheels carried at the rear (or 1 wheel
using the wheel carrier now standard.
This will be used on all continental touring saloons and will
be recommended on such standard chassis having bodies like
18-EX and 24-EX.

3rd. Spedial ) One wheel aft of rear chassis cross-
Standard ) member. This scheme is now used by
special order on some cars, and it is
worth retaining.

P.2. in future. For future design we are considering :-

(1) simplifying the side wheel carrier.
(2) producing a rear apron and grid combined, the
grid to fold away into the apron.

20/25 - SECOND HALF OF "T" SERIES.

1st. Standard. One wheel carried on the offside on the
existing side wheel carrier, stayed to
the dash. A luggage grid using all the same pieces as the
grid to N.sch.3032. proposed for P.2. and possibly an apron
to be sold as extras.

This is for max. bodied cars, if 2 spare wheels
are ordered two side carriers will be used.
