RE: DAMPING OF STEEL PRESSINGS TO PREVENT DRUMMING.

------------------------------------------------------

The Aerograph Co. Ltd. of Lower Sydenham, London, S.E.26, have written to say that they would like to give us a demonstration of their scheme for applying an adhesive material, non-resilient for damping purposes to pressed steel members. It is obvious that this matter is more in connection with bodywork, but possibly there are certain parts that either E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} or Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} would like to have treated in this way. If you will let me know whether this is the case, and dates which would be convenient we can fix the matter up.

The demonstration is to be undertaken at their expense, and they remark that as we have one of their installations it will not necessitate any special arrange-ments.

It occurred to me that possibly you might be interested in such a matter as spraying the dashboard.
