gone, so I didn't dismantle the carburettors. Started off again, and found that the car ran perfectly all right up to about 70 m.p.h. Over that, the motor died. Got to the Gave a few minutes later, and came home without a stop at an even 72 m.p.h. Later I had time to dismantle the carbs, and I found the float in the forward carb. had some liquid in it. Luckily I had a spare float at home. I can find no hole or break of any kind in that float, and it is sitting on my desk all these days, and I have never been able to shake anything out of it yet! How long do you think it took for the liquid to get into the float in order to put it out of course -? I put the new float in, and of course the car runs perfectly. I have had floats go bad before, but I could always find the leak right away. Please let me know about anything new, as I really want a car that will accelerate from 0-50 in 5 seconds! How about it? As ever, Driggs Cunningham
