The secrecy position in regard to the American Rolls-Royce Company and the introduction of Phantom II is just as difficult for them at the present time as it was for us 12 months ago. They have considerable stocks of Phantom I which will have to be liquidated and, if the contract with us matures, for the supply of Phantom II chassis for the American Company, it is of utmost importance to them that information on this point does not become generally known. Otherwise they will experience great difficulty in selling Phantom I's. Any news of this nature getting into the papers here receives wide publicity in America and this we must endeavour to avoid. I am sure that you will be anxious to assist as far as is possible in this direction. Kindly advise all concerned on your staff. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} | ||
