Gearbox.
Standard ratios and small synchromesh cone to PD.239. See memo By/CHL.2/4.7.9.38. Op. forks Ex.32786.

Rear Axle.
Semi-floating rear axle. 9/37 differential gear ratios. Timken bearings. 45 mm half shafts in S.A.E.4140. Aluminium bronze diff. washers. Magnesium centre casing if available.

Prop. Shaft.
To suit length of frame.

Brakes.
Front brakes PD.264 (Two shoe brakes).
Master Cylinder SCD.981. Temporary scheme not issued yet.
Piping. To be installed by Lockheed engineer on first car. A fortnight's notice is required.
Servo. PD.211. (Use old cams).
Servo balancer. PD.212.
Servo drive. PD.222 with whole bronze wheel. (A simplified servo is intended to replace PD.211/2 and SCD.981 for production).
Rear brakes. PD.125 and PD.262 for semi-floating axle.
Rear brake adjuster. OCD.770 and PD.274.
Rear brake equaliser and Intershaft. OCD.897 (use old lever).
