To follow C.15., B.9. is fitted up with special air intake combined in rocker cover LeC.4538.

Distribution, power and noise to be compared with standard air intake system.

This unit has Bentley exhaust valves 1.400 dia., these however will not interfere with above tests.

GENERAL

(1) Special spark plugs 145 and 175 T.L. also long reach "Champions" should be run as much as possible on Ethyl.

(2) Ideal advance curve as taken on Ph.III. No.8. required (non-detonation and max. advance.) These for West to produce governors for No.14. Continental Unit.
