Bailey - Chief Engineer} Copy to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} Bs{A J. Barnes - Assistant Manager}) re- 20/25 h.p Continental Touring Saloon. Referring to DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/Ev{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}2/M23131 and assuming that you are in agreement with what Sv says regarding modifications, we would like to have three of our 20/25 h.p. chassis brought through to this specification. One would be for an order we believe we can get for a chassis of this type, and the other two for stock. I may here add that I have discussed this matter with Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} to-day, and this memo conveys to you his decision in the matter. We believe that the Experimental Department have not made any tests with springs of the type that would be fitted to these chassis, but Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} understood from them that they could test springs of this type on the bumper if they knew the body weight. I am endeavouring to get you the body weight, and will send it to you as soon as possible. You could then no doubt produce springs which would be tested on the rig which you already have, and used on the first of these chassis. Would you please let me know as soon as you can when you anticipate you could effect delivered to S. of these three chassis. Cx.{Major Len W.
