GOSHAWK RADIATOR FIXING WITH SET-UP SPRINGS.

We send you herewith drawing No.Lec 1512 shewing the above. Particulars of the springs are given on the drawing.

The frame is shewn riveted in accordance with Mr. Royce's instructions that we should try riveting the frame throughout.

The joggle in the gusset plates mentioned by Mr. Hives during his last visit to West WitteringHenry Royce's home town is only a partial joggle and is not due to a change of level in the layers of frame jointing, but is due to the profile of the frame in side elevation not agreeing with the face of the radiator and is unavoidable, without some considerable change in the design.

Mr. Royce sees no objection to the gusset plates in their present form.
