Dear Mr.Cowen,

Some time back your people said that they would be interested to see one of our Phantom II engines after it had run a considerable distance on our Carline X.X.1.lubricating oil.

Mr.Hugh Leonard wants to have his car decarbonised, etc. about May 9th, when it will have done rather over 18,000 miles and I thought it would be a good opportunity for your Inspectors to examine the engine.

My cousin would prefer to have the work done in London rather than send the car up to Derby and if you are still interested perhaps you would be kind enough to let me know if this could be arranged?

Yours sincerely,

(Sd) Julian M.Leonard.
