DERBY.

Dear Rm. {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} ,

With reference to my letter of yesterday, I am very sorry indeed but I find I have an engagement on Tuesday next so I must ask you whether I can make another date for my visit to Derby. Could you see me on Thursday next, the 14th January?

I heard from Wood yesterday that you had had a bad accident playing squash, and I sincerely hope that your eye is not seriously injured.

With kind regards,

Yours sincerely,
F.R. Banks
