Dear Sirs,

Re 12" Long Clutch.

With reference to the two 12" Long clutches which you have ordered for us from the Parent Factory, we now have to advise you that it has been decided not to carry out any major alterations in the Phantom III chassis at present, and the matter is therefore in abeyance.

Will you therefore please send us the two clutches modified by you to provide C.F. assistance, at your leisure, but without any driven plates, about which we will write you later when future developments are further advanced.

Yours faithfully,

for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
