Urgent request to dismantle a clutch to investigate a binding issue with the presser plate.

While this car is in the shop for repairs due to accident, will you please dismantle the clutch as we have some rather important information we want to obtain. We found that if we slip this clutch for a few moments the presser plate will tighten up, and the clutch will function no more. We want to ascertain whether the trouble is due to the serrations on the outside of the presser plate binding, or due to the sleeve on the internal diameter tightening up.

This job is rather urgent, as London are having an epidemic of clutch trouble.
