Trials Car Oil Consumption.

Cxll/KW9.7.36.

In reply to your Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}12/KW3.7.36, RC{R. Childs} reports that GUL-82 has now covered 2,925 miles and consumed 4 1/2 gallons of oil, an average of 650 m.p.g.

With regard to GUL-1, the total mileage to date is 1036. For a run of 230 miles at the week-end only one quart of oil was required to bring it up to the proper level, which shows an average of 1020 miles to the gallon.

If you would like a still further report on these cars in another month's time will you please let me know.
