Richard Klinger Ltd are asking if we can give them any information yet on the result of our tests with : (a) Their special Brake Linings G.78256, G.78255, G.79094 and G.79095 - 3/8" material - submitted in March 1931 against our Order 12352 of 11.2.31 (b) Their special Gaskets E.55315 and E.100091 of which you had samples, against our Order No. 31756 of 2.6.32 (c). 12 yards of "Klingerite" Jointing material against our Order No. 29773 dated 3/9.32. They claim that to-day they are supplying their Brake Lining to: Nearly all the Talbot Cars Most of the Rover Cars All the Riley Racing Team and Many of the important drivers at Brooklands Details of tests etc., made with same you will find in booklet attached. Linings are still made in Austria, but the bulk of the gaskets completed in this country. Messrs. Klinger will gladly send further samples for trial if we wish. Additional thereto, they have "Klinger-Oilit" for Petrol and Oil resisting joints, this being made from Asbestos and other media which are not affected by hydrocarbons or high temperatures.
