To HPS.{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. 200B Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std.3/MH.{M. Huckerby}11.2.38. 1158- B.III CAR HEATER. We hand you herewith a car heater to DCD.221 (made up for us by Messrs. John Marston Ltd.) Will you please dismantle this by unsweating the blower fan from its spindle, removing same and dismantling bearing assembly. Will you please hand this heater matrix to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. who will have it tested. It is leaking at the moment. Will you then please repair the leak and rebuild the heater fitting the new bushes and parts instructed by Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. Will you please also modify the blower volute and cover in accordance with Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std's verbal instructions. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. | ||
