SPARKING PLUG BOX SPANNERS. With reference to EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}/Thn4/H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} 20. 12. 23, we have looked into the complaint and find that the trouble is in connection with the sparking plugs adjacent to the water jacket covers on the top of the cylinders. Owing to the length of hexagon formed in the box spanner the latter can drop right down over the sparking plug and jamb between the latter and the water jacket cover, thus preventing the spanner from being turned, therefore we are arranging to have the length of hexagon reduced in the box spanner to prevent this.
