9.B.V. STEERING.

So far none of our experimental B.V. chassis are instructed to be identical to the 50 Production chassis. It has been decided that 9.B.V. should be modified to conform to the LOP's now being prepared for these chassis.

Will you please prepare the necessary parts when the drawings are available. The particular features which we are interested in are:-

(1) Steering column with latest wheel and Wraith type controls.

(2) Yokes with 2° caster and strengthened pivot pins.

(3) Improved geometry levers.

The 50 Production chassis will have S/N cross and side steering tubes jumped up at the ends. As there is no need to test these we wish 9.B. to have S/N tubes not jumped up. These are the only features in which the steering of 9.B. should differ from the 50 chassis.
