Weight Reduction on the Big Bore Chassis.

There will be a slight reduction in weight on the big bore chassis. The major weight savings are as follows :-

lbs. ozs.
Flywheel and clutch 17 9
Propellor Shaft Damper deleted 12 12
Saving on the smaller Dynamo 5 0
Total 34 12

There will be slight additions which we have not yet ascertained due to the larger carburetters and air intake silencer, and an increase of about 2 lbs. due to the cylinder block weight. The nett result will be a saving of about 1/4 cwt.

If to this we could add the advantage gained with the steel body, we should be back to our original figure for the Bentley car.
