Cox - Advertising Manager}12/KW.10.4.31. ------------ on this matter we are going to ask you to leave both the gear and brake levers in the present standard positions which they occupied before the introduction of the 125th. chassis in 'S' series, as we are not convinced that there is any case made out for the alterations proposed, and having the strong support of the Coachbuilders in this matter we feel that we are embarking on an unnecessary alteration. We are glad to note from the last paragraph of your memo referred to, that you would like to be advised as soon as possible if the alteration is not agreed to so that you can stop the Works before they get too far.
