WRAITH VAUXHALL TYPE WATER PUMP WITH TUFNOL OR SIMILAR MATERIAL BEARINGS. We will hand you the above pump which is at present fitted with Tufnol bearing and thrust ring and a bakelite sealing washer. Will you please fit to it a new bush, thrust ring and sealing washer all in Ferobestos N.W.1 material - we hand you herewith the pieces in question which Messrs. Ferodo have manufactured for us. It will be necessary to fit a small brasspin to the sealing washer as shown on Vauxhall arrangement drawing attached herewith (which please return). Will you fit the pump up with .002 clearance in bearing and .005 end play of rotor shaft. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. | ||
