To Adv. from Hm.{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs} O.{Mr Oldham} to Hos. dy.{F R Danby} to Hy.{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} C. to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} C. to Hx. X417 Knock in Phantom Engine. Re Chassis No. 61-MC. - Miss L. Cooper. Thank you for RJ14/E30.11.27. We would suggest that the only alternative in this case is for an Inspecting Engineer to visit Miss Cooper, and explain the position, as stated in paragraph 7 of your memo., and ask her to use her car in the meantime. We do not think any purpose would be served by the expensive method of changing the engine, as our past experience has shown us the knock most probably would still be in existence. As we had a letter from Miss Cooper this morning, copy of which we attach, we shall be glad to hear what action has been decided upon. Hm.{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs} | ||
