re Shunt Dynamos for Vibrator Control.

Referring to your memo Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.2/MA.31.7.33, we feel it is very important to continue pegging away to get the maximum output up for safe heating at high speeds, because of night running conditions.

This was the main object of getting a dynamo high speed test running, and it certainly has resulted in some improvement in this direction, but we still fall short of the full lamp load for high speed work at night, for example, we understand that the production test for the Bentley dynamo is limited to a falling characteristic curve of output obtained by inserting more resistance, and that this curve falls below the full lamp load that would be obtained when running at 60 to 70 miles per hour at night time with all lights on.
