DERBY.

Dear Sirs,

Your ref. He/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}5/MJ.

We would acknowledge receipt, with many thanks, of your letter of the 10th instant and are very pleased to note that while the results have not been up to expectations some improvement at any rate is shown in respect to the four Couplings fitted with riveted plates put on by ourselves.

We have carefully examined the two returned to us and shall be very pleased to take advantage of your kind offer to test a further set. We will see what modifications and improvements we can effect and will communicate with you again in the course of a few days.

Yours faithfully,
HERMETIC RUBBER COMPANY LTD.
