Referring to BY/Cgh{W Clough}8/G13.7.28. we do not consider that the .300" will make any material difference in this matter. In this connection, it is presumed that the 'D' steering column referred to, is the 'D' steering column which was approved for G.2.B. series after we had inspected an approximate lay-out which was fitted to 14.EX. It was realised at the time that 14.EX. was not exactly similar but from our trial of it and the knowledge of the slight difference, we agreed to the new proposed 'D' for G.2.B. and this was reported to Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} in Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}2/M/M16.5.28. We should therefore like to have confirmation on this point. There is also a rather serious matter in regard to pedals. There appears to have been a good deal of correspondence going on lately between W. and WW. regarding these, and we should be glad to know what has been finally decided in regard to this modification for the E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} steering which is to be rigged up on 12.EX. We wonder whether it is also possible for you to now give us any idea as to how soon we shall be able to see 12.EX. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} | ||
