The Design Dept. have got out a scheme for the supercharged Bentley in which the blower is on the off side of the engine, but above the inlet manifold, into which it feeds directly. We already have a scheme, EX.17268, in which the blower is below the manifold, and very little modification will be required to enable us to test the Design Dept.'s proposal.
