Dear Sirs, For the attention of Mr. Donald Sessions. ------------------------------------ Thank you for your letter of the 2nd inst. We note that you are modifying the necessary tools for the 20/25 HP. Jacks. We will of course notify you as soon as we have completed the trial, which should not be long now. If, however, you can possibly let us have one of these Jacks, to Mr. Lidsey's Specification, for inspection before you start delivery, we shall be obliged. Reverting to the 40/50 sample Jack and 2-speed Handle, we are looking into this and will write you in the course of a few days. It was suggested by Mr. Sessions that the 2-speed handle be stamped "High" and "Low" by the respective gears. We think, however, that probably it would be better to have these indications embossed on the casting. We shall be pleased to hear your comments on this. Yours faithfully, For ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. P.S.
