As you are aware, in future all instructions for bodies for use by the Experimental Department at Derby will be ordered and controlled by Derby. On receipt of instructions to lay down a body or do any piece of work for us, will you kindly send us the usual invoice of initial cost. Any subsequent cost figures resulting from modifications instructed, should be treated similarly. We will arrange for Derby to issue the necessary official order. We also would like to receive on placing the order a provisional delivery date for the body or whatever the work may be, it being clearly understood that allowance will be made for extended time when alterations occur.
