To E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} c. to Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} X1160 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/FD.{Frank Dodd - Bodies}14/KW.29.4.36. Re Seapak Insulation. We have subjected this material to a heat test under damp conditions, the Seapak being fixed to the dashboard after having first been well damped with water. The tests were quite satisfactory, we have been able to dry out the material with engine heat without there being any obnoxious smell, on the contrary the smell is more pleasant than offensive.
