To ROY{Sir Henry Royce}/Ms. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Lid.{A. J. Lidsey}1/KT.1.11.33.

ELECTRIC PETROL GAUGE FOR 27-EX.

Will you please order a Smiths Electric petrol gauge suitable for our 40/50 car, 20 gallon petrol tank F.82676. The gauge itself should be the same as supplied for our 28 gallon production tank, but with of course altered calibration.

Messrs S. Smith & Sons, supplied us with a gauge suitable for this tank in January 1932, and it is therefore possible that they have particulars of the calibration of the gauge and arrangement of the tank unit. We sent them at that time (22nd. Dec 1931) a tank (F.82676) for calibration purposes, which afterwards was returned to us.

This is very urgent so we should like delivery as early as possible.
