Dear Mr Ward,

Mr Lappin's Car.

This confirms our telephone conversation this morning, and it was understood that you were in a position to trim this when required.

Regarding the front seats, I have mentioned this to "Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}", and he definitely does not agree to having the seats taken from our existing cars and fitted into Mr Lappin's.

Tracings of B.V and Ripplet.

It was understood that you would have tracings of these made, and sent to us as soon as possible.

I was very glad to hear that you and your family were safe and sound, but quite appreciate that while the raid was on, it was decidedly unpleasant. We, ourselves, were very uncomfortable with things happening 5 miles away, but I feel quite sure that it must have been decidedly unpleasant in your case, almost on your doorstep.

I am looking forward to some arrangements being made for you to pay us a visit in the near future.

With kind regards,

Yours sincerely,
