Dear Spurrier,

I shall be in your part of the world on Friday next and if convenient, would like to call in and see you somewhere about tea-time.

I hear you have been having a bit of trouble with bearings, with which we might be able to help you; also, we are getting bored with our own war effort and want to see what other people are doing.

If you will be likely to be available would you be good enough to wire me on Thursday afternoon.

Yours sincerely,
