The reason we recommend fitting a battery ignition to this car is owing to the unsatisfactory running we obtain on magneto. The magneto is a small size German Bosch.
We cannot fit to the engine a Watford magneto or a B.T.H. because the centres are different.

Mr. Day has got out a simple scheme so that we can fit the R-R aero type battery ignition to it. We consider that as it has been decided to git battery ignition to "Goshawk II", it would be an advantage to put battery ignition on "Goshawk I", especially as the magneto is not satisfactory.
