We have received a memo from Waller this morning asking for a new spring drive centre for 3.B.IV. We are sending this by Air Mail to Paris, and have wired Waller accordingly.

Would it not be better to drive the car to Paris slowly with the broken slipper wheel so that the Paris Depot can fit the new centre at the same time as re-lining the brakes ? If you think this arrangement will save time, will you instruct Waller accordingly.
