Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from BJ. Copy to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} Copy to BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} X8350 Axle Ratios. BJ3/E1.12.27 With reference to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}3/LG28.11.27, we are glad to hear that the 14-tooth axles can be introduced. When may we expect these? Is there likely to be much trouble in future in producing silent 14-tooth axles as readily as the 15-tooth? I [text struck out] think we have overcome the original difficulties. We should certainly like 14-tooth axles on all heavy or closed cars. BJ. | ||
