Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation}3/SW. The Zenith Carburetter Co., Honeypot Lane, Stanmore, MIDDLESEX. For the attention of T.L. Turner, Esq. Dear Mr. Turner, Confirming the writers visit with our Mr. M.G.Aspley to your factory on June 13th. We left with you two complete sets of detail drawings, from which you will produce two engine sets (four carburetters) of parts, and fit them to two pairs of carburetters which will be supplied. This will enable us to proof test the simplified version of the Kestrel K.{Mr Kilner} Carburetter. Will you please note that you should produce all the alternative sizes of jets and adjusting washers quoted, so that we may have available sufficient variables. It was agreed that you would go ahead with the manufacture of these parts so as to have the carburetters completed within four weeks. Features of this job were discussed as follows :- Production. During the process of modifying the existing carburetters, you will estimate your maximum possible capacity, and it was agreed that it should be assumed that you would be supplied with castings of the main body, for the purpose of making this estimate. We would like you to go ahead with this investigation and let us know as soon as possible :- -continued- | ||
