X.607. 5. Smaller size battery. The standard battery we are now using is 55 ampere hour - the one which has been running on 2.EX car is 45 ampere hour. They had trouble with the battery owing to the internal connection on one cell going wrong. We are not prepared to recommend this smaller battery as standard. The following is a list of parts which we intend to issue standardisation sheets for:- X.3751. 1. Improved type split aluminium pistons (standard-isation for this has been signed.) X.3461. 2. New type rear shock absorber. X.3532. 3. Oil Retaining Baffles in rear axle. X.3657. 4. New operating lever for clutch. X.3727. 5. Radiator made by R-R.{Sir Henry Royce} X.3441. 6. Taper Pivot Pins. X.3418. 7. Taper ball ends to steering levers. X.3444. 8. New bracket for Hand Pump. X.3735. 9. Dynamo belt with smaller links. X.3709. 10. Bonnet Catches - new position. X.3642. 11. Silencer .5" lower. X.3748. 12. Stronger Actuating Box of increased power. X.2656. X.3082. 13. C.M.31 type brushes to starter motor. It is our intention to take 2.EX Car to Mr. Royce early next week to get his agreement on the parts we wish to standardise. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} h | ||
