X.4323 105/ EFC JAN 18 1921 RFC RECEIVED Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/DMW2/LG. 13th. Jan 1921. George Kent, Ltd., 199 to 201 High Holborn, London W.C.1. Dear Sirs, X.4323 RE. CLEAR VIEW SCREEN. Your letter of the 11th. inst addressed to Conduit Street for the attention of R.W. Spinney Esq., has been handed to the Experimental Dept. Derby, and we are writing you direct with reference to our order No.47952 for Clear View Screen. We note your alternative points and after consideration of same, have decided to adopt No.3. For this purpose we propose sending you the actual windscreen because - 1. The glass happens to be scrap and wants replacing. 2. We cannot adopt your alternative plan No.2 as the Cape Car Hood for this Car fits flush along the top of the screen. If you will be good enough to advise us as to where you will have this windscreen sent, we will despatch same immediately. Please note, that the dimensions of the Frame work of the screen must not be altered. Yours faithfully, | ||
