261? Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}5/R.{Sir Henry Royce} 16th June, 1937. Verdon Smith, Esq., Hill House, Long Ashton, Near Bristol. Dear Mr. Verdon Smith, Mr. Sidgreaves tells me that he believes we can improve the clutch on your Bentley. I understand that he drove your car the other day. We expect to have a mechanic in the district sometime during the next fortnight, and shall be glad to know on what day, or days, it would be convenient for him to attend to your car. We anticipate the necessary adjustments will take 2/3 hours. Alternatively, should you at any time be thinking of coming up here on a visit the matter could be dealt with then. Yours sincerely, | ||
