X8650 With a view to eliminating the thump experienced by HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} on the starter drive as originally designed, we have put in a form of cushion drive which is shewn on LeC. 1951. Mr. Royce took this drawing with him this morning with the idea of handing same to you, but as it was prepared during the night in a great hurry you may find a few points requiring some explanation which I shall be very glad to supply on hearing from you.
