D.71096 with its fixed contacts and definite gaps, it will I think be exceedingly difficult to work within the limits in the gap table and it seems to me that an adjustment of some description is necessary, therefore, will you please embody the adjustment scheme sent herewith on one of the experimental switches for R's. approval - D.71169 - Armature - Use Pressing - D.71090. D.71170 - Adjustable Contact Point. D.71171 - Securing Spring for Contact. D.71172 - Contact Platform - Use Blank D.71172 D.Sch:613 - Adjustable Contact. One other adjustment is necessary and should be embodied, adjusting washers for the pedestals D.70668 to ensure the correct position of the upper contact platform. D.71173-6 - Washer. Blueprints of the above herewith, and we should like to know if this scheme does make for ease in obtaining the gaps. MADE AT CREWE BY/RD. | ||
